Courtney Barnett has unveiled details of her third studio album.
The follow-up to 2018's 'Tell Me How You Really Feel' is called 'Things Take Time, Take Time' and will arrive on November 12 via Marathon Artists.
Penned by the Australian singer-songwriter over a period of two years, the LP was recorded in late 2020 and early 2021 in Sydney, Northern New South Wales and Melbourne, with producer and Warpaint drummer Stella Mozgawa.
The announcement comes with the first single and album opener, Rae Street, a folk ballad which finds Barnett delivering her signature matter-of-fact tone and witty lyricism over a jangly mid-tempo guitar melody.
Head below to check out the accompanying W.A.M. Bleakley-directed video, along with the cover artwork and tracklist.
Barnett will embark on a North American tour this autumn, with special guests Julia Jacklin, Ashmir and Bartees Strange on select dates. Tickets are on sale now.
