Pile Set August Release For New Album 'Songs Known Together, Alone' Featuring Reworked Tracks

Pile have announced their eighth album.
'Songs Known Together, Alone' will arrive on August 10 via Exploding In Sound and feature founder Rick Maguire's solo recordings of songs from Pile's 15-year career.
Picking apart the tracks and reworking them back together again, he's unveiled his revamps of I Don't Want to Do This Anymore and Build A Fire as a preview.
The former from 2017's 'A Hairshirt of Purpose' has been transformed from an instrumental to a soothing, more traditional take with lyrics. The latter is a slowed-down, piano-based composition. Check out the artwork above and tracklist below.
