An unearthed Prince song has been released.
Following the Curtis Mayfield-channeling Born 2 Die, Hot Summer will feature on the late funk icon's upcoming posthumous LP, 'Welcome 2 America', due out on July 30 via the Sony label Legacy Recordings.
As the title suggests, it deals in sunny, feel-good vibes and arrives at the same time as a new season of the Prince Estate official podcast, The Story of Welcome 2 America, which details the making of the record.
