Slash, Myles Kennedy, and the Conspirators are teasing their return.
New song The River Is Rising will arrive on October 22 and serve as the first taste of the rock band's follow-up to 2018's 'Living The Dream', though no further details have been announced. In a video posted to social media, the legendary guitarist revealed what to expect from the record:
"This was the first time that we actually did all the guitars, bass and drums live at the same time, and kept all those tracks. And we also did the vocals live as well.
"So the record just sounds like the band playing the songs that we came in with, but it’s us playing in the moment. And that’s what we were going for."
Singer Myles Kennedy added: "This one's pretty much a live record, from my standpoint. You’re just trying to kind of document where you are at that point in life, and do it in an authentic way."
In September, Slash's other band, Guns N' Roses, dropped the new song Hard Skool. They're also due to tour Australia and New Zealand in November, before heading to the UK and Europe in summer 2022.
Myles Kennedy, meanwhile, put out his sophomore solo LP, 'The Ides Of March', in May. He'll support it with a UK tour in December.
