Self Esteem, Bimini, Richard Dawkins, Jack Guinness & More Join Line-Up For Inaugural Kite Festival

Further acts have been announced for Kite Festival this summer.
The Covid-delayed inaugural edition of the event will take over Kirtlington Park, Oxford in June with an impressive musical line-up, as well as talks and debates with a number of influential speakers, including authors and activists.
Among the new names confirmed are Self Esteem (pictured), renowned drag performer, model and writer Bimini, Richard Dawkins, Jack Guinness, Devi Sridhar, Julia Hobsbawm, and Armando Iannucci.
They join the already announced Grace Jones, David Miliband, TLC, Tina Brown and many more.
What? A multi-day festival held across seven stages, boasting an eclectic musical bill, as well as a stacked list of speakers.
Where? Kirtlington Park in Kidlington, Oxfordshire.
When? June 10-12, 2022
Who? Self Esteem will perform on the main stage, with Ru Paul’s Drag Race sensation, model and writer Bimini, Richard Dawkins, Jack Guinness, Devi Sridhar, Julia Hobsbawm, and Armando Iannucci also new to the bill.
They join Grace Jones, TLC, Tom Misch, Mavis Staples, This Is The Kit, Saint Etienne, Seun Kuti and Egypt 80, Nubiyan Twist, Flamingods, Mermaid Chunky, Baxter Dury, Confidence Man, The Orielles, Gwenno Katy J Pearson and Fran Lobo.
Other speakers announced for the festival include David Miliband, Tina Brown, Delia Smith and Rory Stewart, Elizabeth Day with Sathnam Sanghera, Jarvis Cocker, William Dalrymple and David Olusoga, George Monbiot, and Mandu Reid.
Reginald D Hunter, David O'Doherty, Jen Brister, Sara Barron, Janine Harouni, Christopher Bliss, Sara Barron, and Michelle de Swarte head up the comedy stage.
