Wet Leg have shared details of their self-titled debut album.

'Wet Leg' will arrive on April 8 via Domino and feature the already unveiled singles Wet Dream and Chaise Longue, along with two new songs; Too Late Now, which closes the record, and Oh No.

Both cuts show off their knack for penning carefree, tongue-in-cheek lyrics, with the former a more introspective offering than the latter, a thumping, distorted number.

Watch the Fred Rowson–directed video for Too Late Now below. One half of the Isle Of Wight duo, Rhian Teasdale said:

"It is about sleepwalking into adulthood. I never imagined that my adult life would look the way it does and I guess this song reflects on some of the pressures and pulls of life. Sometimes I get really inside my head and everything can feel very overwhelming. I think this song is about accepting that life can feel a bit shit from time to time. Maybe don’t indulge that thought too much though. Just take some time for yourself. Take a breath. Have a bath. It might make you feel a bit better.”

Teasdale and Hester Chambers recorded the LP in London earlier in 2021, mostly alongside producer Dan Carey.

The pair, who were recently unveiled as 2022 ambassadors of Independent Venue Week, will support the album with a previously confirmed spring UK tour. They have also announced a new batch of UK gigs for January and February, tickets for which go on sale at 9am on December 3.
