Kim Gordon (pictured) and J. Mascis have combined for a two-song Sub Pop single.
The upbeat Abstract Blues comes backed with the chaotic Slow Boy, and finds the Dinosaur Jr. and Sonic Youth guitarists offering up distorted, effects-heavy riffs. The two-track single is available to stream or buy now on J Mascis's Bandcamp page.
Earlier in December, Gordon released Grass Jeans to raise money for Fund Texas Choice. Mascis, meanwhile, put out the Massachusetts band's first album in five years, 'Sweep it Into Space', in April. They then surprise released the live album 'Emptiness At The Sinclair' in October.
Dinosaur Jr. will embark on a UK and European tour next spring. Tickets are on sale.
