Hanson Announce New Album 'Red Green Blue' And 2022 World Tour Including Summer UK Shows

Hanson have announced their Red Green Blue World Tour.
The trek will support the trio's new album of the same name, which is made up of three solo projects, with a third of the record written and produced by each sibling—Taylor's Red, Isaac’s Green and Zac's Blue.
Co-produced by Grammy Award-winners Jim Scott and David Garza, the LP will be previewed by a single from each member. On February 11, Taylor will share Child At Heart, March 11 will see Isaac drop Write You A Song, while Zac will release Don't Let Me Down on April 15.
The entire project is due out through 3CG Records/The Orchard on May 20, marking the brothers' 30th anniversary of performing together. Isaac said:
"Going into our 30th year as a band we felt like it was imperative we continue to tell our story like only we can, and telling stories in ways that will continue to challenge us to grow and give people new reasons to listen. 'Red Green Blue' is about sharing what has made us a band that has been able to weather so many storms."
Taylor added: "Our love and respect for Jim Scott has only grown since we first met 20 years ago. He has been behind some of our favorite albums, so it’s an absolute joy to have finally made a project together."
Zac explained: "We have had a long friendship and deep connection with David since our early days as a band. We could not have had a better musical collaborator for this milestone project."
Kicking off on June 8 in Finland, the 18-date European run will include UK stops in Nottingham, Glasgow, Manchester, London, Bristol and Leeds. A North American leg will follow between July and September, with Australian and New Zealand shows to be scheduled for November and announced this spring.
Along with new material, fans can expect to hear the group's 2020 single Against The World, as well as a career-spanning set of hits.
It marks the trio's first major outing since their 2019 tour supporting 2018's 'String Theory' album. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on January 20.
