Adele has postponed her Las Vegas residency.
The British vocalist was due to kick off the Weekends With Adele run of shows tonight at the Colosseum of the Caesars Palace Hotel, but took to social media last night (January 20) to post a tearful video advising the show was not ready due to delivery delays and half her team contracting COVID-19.
In the clip, the singer explains she and her staff had been up for the last 30 hours trying to resolve the issues but could not. She went on to say that she was upset and embarassed, also apologising for the last minute cancellation and advising rescheduled dates were to follow.
Adele released '30', the long-awaited follow-up to 2015's '25', in November 2021. She also has plans to support it with two BST Hyde Park shows in London this summer.
