Idles, Jessie Buckley And Bernard Butler, Holly Humberstone Join Edinburgh's Connect Festival

Further acts have been announced for a new Scottish festival.
Connect Festival will take over the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh this August bank holiday with Idles (pictured), Jessie Buckley and Bernard Butler, Holly Humberstone, Joesef Lyra, Jealous Of The Birds, Newdad, Opus Kink, India Jordan, and Taahliah among the latest names revealed for the line-up.
Massive Attack were set to headline the event on the Friday, but Idles will replace them, now that the band is no longer able to perform their shows this summer, according to a statement from organisers. They join the previously confirmed headliners The Chemical Brothers, and The National.
As well as the musical bill, the event will also host visual arts and installations, plus food and drink from local sellers.

Who? Massive Attack will headline the Friday, following sets from Jon Hopkins, Black Coffee, John Grant, Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul, Future Utopia, Maeve, Moses Boyd, Cloth, LVRA, Optimo (Espacio), and Hammer.
The Chemical Brothers will top Saturday's bill, which will also see performances from Bonobo, The Twilight Sad, Caribou, Chloe Moriondo, Ride playing Nowhere, LOW, Matt Maltese, Willie J Healey, Swim School, Erol Alkan, and Nightwave.
Closing the weekend will be headliners The National, following Mogwai, Bombay Bicycle Club, Little Simz, Self Esteem, Black Country, New Road, Rae Morris, Idlewild playing the Remote Part, Admiral Fallow, Sudan Archives, Dehd, Hamish Hawk, Lizzie Reid, Geese, Kathleen Frances, Horse Meat Disco, Jamz Supernova, and Rebecca Vasmant.
