The Linda Lindas have shared a new single, Talking To Myself.
The song serves as the latest advance single from the Los Angeles-based punk band's debut album, 'Growing Up', due out on April 8, with physical formats following on June 3 via Epitaph Records.
Offering a more pop-punk edge, it comes paired with a black and white Ryan Baxley-directed video, inspired by the classic Twilight Zone episode Living Doll. The group's Lucia de la Garza commented:
"The song is about the spiral you go into when you're lonely. You start to question yourself and all the decisions you've made. I'm always looking back on conversations and going "Oh, I should have said this, I should have said that". But it's also about needing other people, not just for reassurance, but because we've all learned from the pandemic that you need other people to talk to in order to stay sane."
In February, The Linda Linda's announced details of the full-length with the title track. Other songs set to feature on the record include the previously unveiled Nino, Oh!, and Racist, Sexist Boy.
They'll play headline shows in Los Angeles on April 10, and New York City on May 1. They also have US dates opening for Jawbreaker in the diary this spring.
The Linda Lindas Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
Sun April 10 2022 - LOS ANGELES California - Troubadour (USA)
Sun May 01 2022 - NEW YORK New York - Mercury Lounge (USA)
