UB40 Extend Bigga Baggariddim Tour Into December With New UK and Ireland Shows

UB40 have extended their Bigga Baggariddim Tour into the winter.
The band, featuring new vocalist Matt Doyle, will follow up their previously announced shows in May and June with stops in Belfast, Castlebar, Birmingham, Leeds and London, where they'll finish up the run at the OVO Arena Wembley on December 21.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am on March 11, though tickets for Castlebar and their spring gigs are already on sale.
The tour will see the live premiere of their new single Champion, which was written for the multi-artist album 'On Record' as part of the Birmingham 2022 Festival ahead of the Commonwealth Games.
Founding member, guitarist and vocalist, Robin Campbell said:
“We’re so excited to finally be going back on the road and feel the vibe and love of a live crowd, and for all the UB40 fans to meet Matt as well. They can expect a phenomenal show. We’ll be sure to bring the party.”
In June 2021, UB40 frontman Duncan Campbell announced his retirement from music due to ill health, and was subsequently replaced by Doyle. That same year, the group's saxophonist and songwriter Brian Travers died aged 62, and former UB40 member Astro passed away aged 64.
