Sundowners have announced their third studio album.
Written and recorded around the Wirral, Liverpool and Surrey, 'Pulling Back The Night' will arrive on April 22, following up 2017's 'Cut The Master'.
Now a duo, comprising original members Fiona Skelly and Niamh Rowe, the pair worked on the record alongside a host of collaborators including Paul Weller, Steve Craddock, and members of The Coral, with mixing by the Liverpool band's frontman James Skelly.
As a preview, they've shared the hazy title track, a harmonious, acoustic guitar strummed song that fuses folk and country music, co-penned with Clean Cut Kid. Discussing the creative motivation behind the song, Sundowners said: "Tumultuous lovers whose strengths are their weaknesses. Sick with self-destruction and the only cure is each other."
