If We Get Caught is the latest preview of their new album, 'Alpha Games', due for release on April 29. It finds the band expertly mixing melodies and layering vocals for an indie-rock gem with pop sensibilities. Singer, songwriter and guitarist Kele Okereke said:
“There are only two songs that I feel like have any tenderness on the record and 'If We Get Caught' is one of them. It's really about recognising that the game is coming to an end and about trying to steal a moment of tenderness with your partner before the curtain comes crashing down. I think it's about trying to find moments where you can really connect with someone amidst all of the chaos that's going on in the world.”
The English band will support the new record with a UK and European tour that kicks off later this spring. Prior to that, they'll play a warm-up show at The Garage in London on March 30, an intimate set at Pryzm, Kingston the next day, and then headline the BBC 6 Music Festival in Cardiff in April.
