The Feeling Share Details Of Sixth Album 'Loss. Hope. Love', Drop New Single There Is No Music

Thursday, 24 March 2022 Written by Jon Stickler

The Feeling have shared details of their sixth studio album.

Initially announced in September 2021, the long-awaited follow-up to their 2016 self-titled LP is called 'Loss. Hope. Love' and will arrive on May 6 via Island Records.

It was self-produced by the band at their East London studio during the COVID-19 lockdown. They'll return to the road in support of the record in the autumn.

As a further preview, the group have shared the first single, There Is No Music, a joyful pop-rock track. Frontman Dan Gillespie Sells commented:

"I wrote There Is No Music at a time when many people were going through great difficulty. I have always found that songs are easier to write when they have a clear purpose. For many people the purpose of music can be to bring joy from pain, and therefore it is sorrow that gives music it’s finest purpose – to change the way you feel."

In recent years, the Ivor Novello award-winning group have also been busy with the coming-of-age West End musical Everybody's Talking About Jamie, with music by Gillespie Sells.

'Loss. Hope. Love' tracklist:

1. High Like You
2. There Is No Music
3. Never Gave Up
4. There’s a Word For It
5. On The Edge
6. Lost
7. Love People
8. No One To Blame
9.     Cascade
10.  Wrong
11.  For The Future
12.  Morning Light (plus hidden track – Takes A Beat Away)
