Pixies To Bring Come On Pilgrim It's Surfer Rosa Tour To Australia And New Zealand In December

Pixies will return to Australia and New Zealand in December 2022.
After being forced to abandon their 2020 visit due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the legendary Boston alt-rockers will resume their Come On Pilgrim… It’s Surfer Rosa Tour in December.
Scheduled stops include Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and Melbourne, with the group set to perform 1987's 'Come On Pilgrim' and the following year's 'Surfer Rosa' in full at all gigs except Melbourne, where they'll play a fresh set of select songs from across their career. They'll also hop across the water to play in Wellington, Auckland, and Christchurch.
Pixies' latest studio album came in the form of 'Beneath The Eyrie', released in 2019, followed by two companion EPs, 'Beneath The Eyrie Demos: Pt. 1' and 'Beneath The Eyrie Demos: Pt. 2'. They recently returned with the single Human Crime, though there's no word yet whether the song will feature on their next record.
The group also have several UK shows in the diary for July and August, including concerts at Glasgow's Kelvingrove Bandstand, as part of the city's Summer Nights At The Bandstand series, and rescheduled shows at Newcastle's Live From Times Square and Bingley Weekender. They also have a rearranged run of Irish shows.
