Following Rotting and Alive, the dark, atmospheric track marks the latest preview of the Minneapolis-based band's sixth album, 'Madness', due out on June 3 via Memphis Industries. Songwriter and vocalist Channy Leaneagh said:
"Along with the core members of the band, the new single Violence brings on some of Poliça’s favourite collaborators like Velvet Negroni's Jermey Nutzman, Boys Noize, Dustin Zahn, CJ Camererie and Aaron Baum to bring a slow-building dance-ish take on someone else’s problems."
The group will support the follow-up to 2020's 'When We Stay Alive' with a summer North American tour, kicking off in late August in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
