Phoebe Bridgers Shares New Song Sidelines From Conversations With Friends Soundtrack

Phoebe Bridgers has released a new song.
Sidelines marks the singer-songwriter's first original music since the release of her 2020 Grammy Award-nominated LP, 'Punisher'.
Offering string arrangements and a more subtle sound than her previous record, the track will feature in the Hulu original series Conversations With Friends, a television adaptation of Sally Rooney's hit novel which premiered on May 15.
Its accompanying video features footage of Bridgers recording alongside scenes from the show with actors Joe Alwyn, Alison Oliver, Jemima Kirke and Sasha Lane.
The series' official soundtrack also includes songs from PinkPantheress and Irish band Wyvern Lingo, who cover No Doubt's Just A Girl. Other artists who feature are The Weeknd, James Blake, Charli XCX, and Haim.
Bridgers will bring her Reunion Tour to the UK and Ireland this summer. The run also includes an appearance at Glastonbury Festival. Tickets are on sale.
