The first wave of acts for a concert honouring the late Taylor Hawkins has been announced by Foo Fighters.
The Seattle rockers recently shared details of two tribute shows for their bandmate, which will take place at London's Wembley Stadium on September 3, and Los Angeles' Kia Forum on September 27.
The all-star London gig will feature performances from Liam Gallagher, Brian May, Mark Ronson, and Supergrass, to name a few. Foo Fighters themselves will also perform on what is set to be an emotional night.
Other acts set to appear include Chris Chaney, Stewart Copeland, Omar Hakim, Joshua Homme, Chrissie Hynde, Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, Roger Taylor, Rufus Taylor, Wolfgang Van Halen, Chevy Metal, and Dave Chappelle, with further names still to be revealed.
Artists and bands for the tribute concert in California are still to be announced. Tickets go on sale at 9am local time this Friday (June 17).
Both shows will benefit charities in the UK chosen by the Hawkins family, with beneficiaries and further details to be confirmed shortly.
The Foo Fighters drummer passed away unexpectedly in March aged 50.
Foo Fighters Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
Sat September 03 2022 - LONDON Wembley Stadium
