(Sandy) Alex G Confirms September Release For Ninth LP 'God Save The Animals', Posts New Song Runner

(Sandy) Alex G has announced his ninth studio album.
'God Save The Animals' will arrive on September 23 via Domino and will include the newly unveiled single Runner, a piano-laced indie-rock track.
It comes paired with a video filmed by Aldo Fisk, starring the Philadelphia singer-songwriter and his bandmates; Sam Acchione, Molly Germer, John Heywood, and Tom Kelly. The song will feature on the record along with the previously shared single Blessing, released back in May.
(Sandy) Alex G, real name Alex Giannascoli, recently announced a headline North American tour that kicks off this fall with guests Barrie and Hatchie. Head here for details. It'll follow European dates this summer, including shows in Newcastle and Edinburgh after his appearance at Green Man.
