Stella Donnelly Drops Video For New Single How Was Your Day?

Stella Donnelly has dropped a new single, How Was Your Day?.
The track serves as the latest preview of her upcoming LP, 'Flood', due out on August 26 via Secretly Canadian. It delivers an upbeat aesthetic, complete with a bright guitar melody and deadpan vocals.
It'll be joined on the record by the previously unveiled cuts Lungs and the title track. Head below to check out its Nick Mckk and Claire Giuffre-directed video. Donnelly said:
"This is my attempt at building a song out of a very specific dynamic between two monogamously involved people. The verses are just excerpts from real conversations, fragments of what two people talk about when they both know they need to have a real talk but neither wants to be the one to bring it up. This song came out of lockdown and seeing a lot of friends break up or get married."
"This video does a really good job of portraying how annoying I am!," Donnelly added. "We shot it from opposite sides of the world which was a little bit stressful but a lot of fun."
The singer-songwriter will support the record with UK and Ireland shows in November, as part of a wider European tour.
