Algiers have dropped another track from their upcoming studio album.
The intense 73% will feature on 'SHOOK' alongside the previously unveiled cuts Bite Back featuring billy woods and Backxwash, Irreversible Damage featuring Zack de la Rocha, and I Can’t Stand It! featuring Samuel T. Herring of Future Islands and Jae Matthews of Boy Harsher.
Driven by winding guitar lines and fast, twitchy drum beats, it's guided by frontman Franklin James Fisher's smooth flowing spoken word poetry. He said:
"73% is an impressionistic love letter to the energy and movement of New York City that I missed so much when I was exiled in ATL during quarantine."
The Atlanta-based group will drop the guest-heavy 'SHOOK' on February 24 via Matador. They performed in Dublin yesterday (February 9) and have a London show lined up for March 8. They also have North American dates in the diary for later in the spring. Tickets are on sale now.
