Public Image Ltd To Support New Album With End Of World UK And European Tour This Autumn

Public Image Ltd have announced the End Of World Tour.
The legendary post-punk group have lined up shows in Swansea, Margate, Lincoln, Blackburn, Buckley, Sunderland, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Manchester, Holmfirth, Coventry, Brighton, Bristol, Torquay and London, where they'll headline the O2 Forum Kentish Town, during September.
Following that, they'll head to venues across mainland Europe throughout October. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on April 14.
The tour will support their new album, 'End Of World', which is due for release on August 11. As a preview, head below to listen to their new single, Penge, which frontman John Lydon describes as, “something of a mediaeval Viking epic.”
Earlier this year, the band competed to represent Ireland at Eurovision, but were not successful. They entered with their song Hawaii, which Lydon wrote about his wife Nora Forster, who recently passed away from Alzheimer's aged 80. He said:
“Nora loved the album, she wouldn’t have wanted us to postpone it or change any of our plans.”
