Lambrini Girls have released a new single, Lads Lads Lads.
The scuzzy, off-kilter punk-rock cut is the latest to be lifted from their debut EP, 'You're Welcome', which is set to arrive on May 19 through Big Scary Monsters. The duo, Phoebe Lunny and Lilly Macieira, said:
"In order to be a lad, make sure to follow the following guidelines: excessive drinking, harassing anyone with a pulse and starting fights. Most importantly, make sure to never talk about your feelings as this simply cannot be associated with manliness. Lad culture is the shit stain on the bathroom floor and toxic masculinity is the toilet paper that refuses to unstick from the shoe of society. Nobody wins."
The record will also include the Brighton band's previous singles Help Me I'm Gay and White Van. They'll support it with a summer UK tour of the same name, and a number of festival appearances, including 2000trees, The Great Escape and Celebrate This Place. The pair will also play Iggy Pop's Dog Day Afternoon event in London on July 1.
