Featuring choral backing vocals and guided by Dury's stylised, spoken-word delivery, Celebrate Me serves as the third preview of his seventh album, 'I Thought I Was Better Than You', which is due out on June 2. He described it as, "a stream of consciousness rant about being predictably bohemian, west London-ish and attention seeking."
Produced by Paul White, the record will also include the previously unveiled cuts Aylesbury Boy and Leon, both of which feature JGrrey.
The 51-year-old will support Pulp at shows in London, Manchester and Cardiff this summer, alongside an appearance at Kite Festival in Oxfordshire in June. He also has European dates scheduled, along with a UK tour in the autumn.
Dury's previous album was 2020's 'The Night Chancers'.
