Jamie Webster has shared a new song.
Voice Of The Voiceless marks the Liverpool artist's first new music of 2023, and arrives hot on the heels of his performance at this weekend's Glastonbury Festival.
Recorded with longtime producer and collaborator Dave Eringa at the famous Rockfield Studios, and his own new studio in Liverpool, the inspiring acoustic guitar-led track comes ahead the singer-songwriter's two sell-out shows at Liverpool's Pier Head as part of the On The Waterfront series.
"Voice Of The Voiceless is a call to action for people who feel like they've got no way out of a life where the odds are constantly stacked against us," Webster explained. "So many of us feel alone, powerless and with no chance to succeeding in today’s society. This song is a reminder that we're not alone, that if we rise from the shadows and come together, we might actually have a chance to make a positive change for everyone."
Later this summer, the 29-year-old will support James at two gigs at The Piece Hall in Halifax, alongside appearances at Glasgow's TRNSMT, Y Not? Festival and Reading andLeeds.
Webster's most recent album is 2022's 'Moments'.
