Skindred have dropped another single from their upcoming eighth album.
Coupling reggae-infused pop elements with powerful metal riffage, Unstoppable will feature on 'Smile' alongside the previously unveiled cuts L.O.V.E (Smile Please), If I Could, Gimme That Boom and Set Fazers. Guitarist Mikey Demus commented:
"As a band, we’ve survived the rise and fall of a million genres, trend and fads in this world. People have tried and failed to put us in a box we refuse to live in. Skindred has a determination and a tenacity to stay true to ourselves, and true to our fans. Skindred will not be ignored. We are Unstoppable!"
Frontman Benji Webbe added: "We keep going, and we keep pushing forward. In life, it’s about hearing that our music has encouraged people and got them through dark times. But even when we’re done and gone, people will still be listening to this music. That thought makes me smile."
The song arrives hot on the heels of the Welsh band's appearance at 2000trees and their dates supporting KISS at the glam-rock icons' final UK concerts. They'll embark on their own headline UK and Ireland tour in the autumn.
The follow-up to 2018's 'Big Tings' will arrive on August 4, marking their first release for Earache Records.
