Damien Dempsey has announced six Dublin shows for the winter.
The singer-songwriter will continue his yearly tradition of performing festive concerts in his home city, with gigs at Vicar Street on December 16, 17, 19, 20, 22 and 23. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Friday (July 28).
Ahead of the Dublin dates, he's also set to play Limerick for a Live At The Big Top show on December 8 and Galway's Black Box on December 9. Tickets for those gigs are already on sale.
One of Ireland's great musical storytellers, Dempsey's self-written Tales From The Holywell, a theatrical reflection on the artist's life and career, took over Dublin's Abbey Theatre earlier this year.
In June, he released the new single Hope Calling, the first taster of his forthcoming studio album, the follow-up to 2018's 'Union'.
