Damien Dempsey is a folk singer-songwriter and musician from Dublin, Ireland.
He released his debut LP, 'They Don't Teach This Shit In School', in 2000, and has since put out a further eight studio albums, with the most recent being 2018's 'Union'. He'll follow it up with 'Hold Your Joy' in October 2024. Damien Dempsey will support his new album with a tour of the UK and Ireland in spring 2025, following a six-night run at Dublin's Vicar Street and a Killarney show in December 2024.
