Spanish Love Songs have shared a final early single from their upcoming album.
Heartfelt and propulsive, the acoustic guitar-led Marvel serves as the fourth preview of 'No Joy', following Pendulum, Clean-Up Crew and Haunted.
"Marvel is the backbone of the album thematically," vocalist and guitarist Dylan Slocum explained. "It was written for a friend, and the chorus was a throwaway joke that has just sort of stuck. It’s probably the most positive song I’ve ever written, and a response to every complaint I’ve ever lodged in other songs."
"Find the things you need to stay afloat," he added. "Piss off the cosmic forces that would see you perish. Find what you need. Stay alive."
Produced by the band and Collin Pastore, the follow-up to 2020's 'Brace Faces Everyone' will arrive on August 25 via Pure Noise Records.
They'll support the release with UK, European and North American shows this autumn supporting Hot Mulligan. They also have headline Australian shows scheduled for August. Head here for details.
