DJ Shadow Announces New Album 'Action Adventure', Share First Single Ozone Scraper

DJ Shadow has announced his eighth studio album.
'Action Adventure', the follow-up to 2019's 'Our Pathetic Age', is due for release on October 27 through Mass Appeal/Liquid Amber. It features 14 tracks that are mostly instrumental. Explaining the reason for this, he said:
“I didn't want to write music that was formatted for vocalists. I wanted to write music that flexed different energies."
As a preview he's shared the record's first single, Ozone Scraper, a dyamic and captivating composition. It arrives with a video directed by Stefano Ottaviano.
The American DJ and producer has some shows coming up this autumn. He'll headline Submersion Festival in New Jersey on October 6, and play Denver's Mission Ballroom on October 21 and Radius in Chicago the next day, with the latter two gigs being with Thievery Corporation
