Barenaked Ladies have announced their 18th studio album.
Slated for release on September 15, 25 years to the day since they dropped their chart-topping hit single One Week, 'In Flight' was produced by Eric Ratz at Toronto's Noble Street Studios.
The news arrives alongside the single One Night, which reflects on the Canadian band's connection with their fans, along with themes of appreciating life. The fun, acoustic track features their familiar quirky and clever humour, and comes with a video directed by their frequent collaborator Phil Harder.
Vocalist Ed Robertson said that the song addresses, "the magical connection that happens between a whole audience and a band. When it goes right—which it almost always does—for that One Night it’s a very intense connection."
The follow-up to 2021's 'Tour de Force' will also include the previous single Too Old.
'In Flight' tracklist:
1. Lovin' Life
2. One Night
3. Enough Time
4. What Do We Need?

8. Too Old
