Madness have announced an intimate London show.
The Camden ska-pop legends will perform a special hometown concert at KOKO on October 18 to launch their new album, 'Theatre Of the Absurd Presents C’Est La Vie'. Tickets go on general sale at 9.30am on Friday (October 6). They said:
"Well ladies and gentlemen, what do we have ‘ere then? For the one and only time, we'll be performing some songs off our brand new album 'Theatre of the Absurd presents C'est La Vie' in the place where it all began - Camden. We first played KOKO right back when it was still called The Music Machine and we can't wait to be back on the 18th October. Dust off your glad rags and get involved."
The group shared details of the record last week, confirming it'll arrive through BMG on November 17, following up 2016's 'Can’t Touch Us Now' and 2022's 'The Get Up!', their soundtrack for a 2021 livestream from the London Palladium.
They previously teased the LP with the lead single, C'Est La Vie, as well as two other tracks; If I Go Mad and What On Earth Is It (You Take Me For?).
Madness will embark on their C’est La Vie UK Tour this winter, which will see them performing at arena venues with special guests The Lightning Seeds. Tickets for those dates are already on sale.
NEW // An intimate @MadnessNews show?! Um, YES PLEASE.
We're counting down the days til their new album 'C'est La Vie' arrives, and the ska-pop legends will celebrate its release with a show at @KOKOLondon later this month!
