Jordan Rakei has released a new single, Flowers.
The ballad arrives via his new label home Decca, and finds the New Zealand-born, Australian-raised artist embracing his soul and jazz roots over strings and soaring vocals. It comes with a cinematic video you can check out below. He said:
"Flowers is an homage to the journey of my first love, the patience it requires, and the pivotal moment I met my wife. It reflects on our memories and tells the story of the comfort I feel in that relationship."
Alongside the new song, the 31-year-old has shared details of his biggest headline show to date, set to take place at London's iconic Royal Albert Hall on October 1, 2024. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on November 3.
Rakei's most recent album is 'What We Call Life', released back in 2021.
