MGMT have laid out plans for their fifth album.

The long-awaited follow-up to 2018's 'Little Dark Age' is titled 'Loss Of Life' and will arrive on February 23 on Mom + Pop Music. It features 10 tracks, including a team-up with Christine And The Queens on Dancing In Babylon.

Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser worked on the record alongside producer Patrick Wimberly and Dave Fridmann, the latter being a longtime collaborator who has mixed all four of the duo's past full-length releases.

Head below to view the Jordan Fish-directed video for the LP's first single, Mother Nature, a breezy, acoustic guitar-led pop track. According to the duo, the song, "outlines the archetypical MGMT mythology of one hero attempting to get the other hero to come on the journey that they ‘must’ go on. One part sounds like Oasis."

Discussing the record, they continued: "All joking aside (never!), we are very proud of this album and the fact that it was a relatively painless birth after a lengthy gestation period, and are happy to be releasing this baby into the world with Mom+Pop.

"Musically speaking, we are running at around 20% adult contemporary and no more than this, please."
