Future Islands have shared a new single, Say Goodbye.

The track reflects on a failing long-distance relationship through Samuel T. Herring's unique crooning vocals over shimmering synth-pop instrumentation.

It'll appear on the Baltimore band's new album, 'People Who Aren't There Anymore', which is due out on January 26 via 4AD.

The group previously teased the record with the singles The Fight, Deep In The Night, King Of Sweden, Peach and The Tower.

Future Islands will play this year's Bearded Theory festival and Live At Leeds In The Park in May, before a set at Irish festival All Together Now in August.
