21 Savage has announced a new album.
Hot on the heels of sharing a trailer for his upcoming Donald Glover-starring biopic, the Atlanta-based rapper took to Instagram yesterday (January 9) to reveal that his third solo LP, 'American Dream', will arrive on Friday (January 12).
Details on the record are scarce, but since announcing the news 21 Savage has been revealing the guests on the project by posting childhood pictures of his collaborators on Instagram. So far, he's revealed that Young Thug, Brent Faiyaz and Summer Walker will appear, though a tracklist is yet to be confirmed.
The record marks the UK-born artist's first solo album since 2018's 'I Am > I Was.' He has since dropped two collaborative albums, 2020's Metro Boomin-produced 'Savage Mode II' and 2022's 'Her Loss' with Drake. The latter has picked up several nominations for this year's Grammy Awards.
A release date for the film American Dream: The 21 Savage Story is still to be announced, though it's expected to arrive this year. Check out the trailer below.
