Das Koolies have unveiled a video for Masters Of Mankind.
Fusing looping beats with psychedelic electronica, pop hooks and catchy choruses, the track features on the band's debut album, 'DK.01', which was released in September 2023. They said:
"Masters Of Mankind is a black sheep, welcomed into the fold with open arms. Ideas that lived quietly with us until it was their time and new ideas that appear even more urgent to us as time races on. Money. Power. Data. All three. What will a world where bits outnumber atoms look like? Our great grandchildren might be the ones to find out."
The four-piece, comprising four-fifths of Super Furry Animals (Huw Bunford, Cian Ciarán, Dafydd Ieuan and Guto Pryce), will kick off their inaugural tour with a sold-out hometown show at Cardiff's Clwb Ifor Bach next Wednesday (January 24). The trek follows a run of Rough Trade in-store gigs last autumn.
They'll also visit Manchester, London and Glasgow, before a Bristol gig as part of Ritual Union festival in March.
