Das Koolies are a psych-rock band from Cardiff, Wales.
The band formed from the ashes of iconic rock band Super Furry Animals, who achieved great success throughout the 1990s. The band released nine albums together before splitting in 2009, reuniting briefly in the mid-2000s and then returning to their hiatus. However, in 2019 former members Huw Bunford, Guto Pryce, Cian Ciaran and Dafydd Ieuan reformed the band under the Das Koolies moniker, going on to release their first album of original music, 'DK.01', in 2023.
