Daniel Bedingfield has announced his UK live return for the spring.
The New Zealand-born, South London-raised pop artist will celebrate 20 years of his debut album, 'Gotta Get Thru This', with shows at Manchester's Bridgewater Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall and the London Palladium in mid-April. Tickets for the short tour, his first since 2005, go on general sale at 10am on Friday (January 26).
A huge star in the early noughties, Bedingfield released his debut LP in 2002 — it reached number two on the UK Album Charts. It included the Grammy Award-nominated title track, as well as the singles James Dean (I Wanna Know), If You're Not the One and I Can't Read You.
In 2004, he won a BRIT Award for Best British Male Artist and released his last full album, 'Second First Impression'.
NEW // From that instantly-recognisable intro to Gotta Get Thru This (doo-doo-doo. Doo-doo, doo🕺) to the spine-tingling high-notes of If You're Not The One, @DanielBedingfld was THE voice of 2004. Now, he'll be celebrating 20 years of his debut with three UK shows this April!… pic.twitter.com/agauxFBbBL
