Empress Of Shares MUNA Collaboration What's Love, Announces New Album 'For Your Consideration'

Empress Of, aka Lorely Rodriguez, has dropped a new single called What's Love.
The alt-pop collaboration with Los Angeles band MUNA arrives alongside details of her new LP, 'For Your Consideration', which the musician and producer will release on March 22 via Giant Music.
The record's closing track follows the previously unveiled cuts Femenine and Kiss Me featuring Rina Sawayama. Explaining the record's title, Rodriguez commented:
"I was in love with a director and he was announcing his 'For Your Consideration' campaign for the Oscars. He took me up on a hill and said he was emotionally unavailable and he kind of broke my heart. I went into the studio that day and we wrote a song called For Your Consideration that reflects on glam and Hollywood. That was the gateway for the album and it gave me the opportunity to explore broader themes."
The bilingual follow-up to 2020's 'I'm Your Empress Of' and 2022's 'Save Me' EP offers English and Spanish songs, and was written between Los Angeles, Miami and Montreal with a few different songwriters and producers, including Nick León, Billboard, Valley Girls, Cecile Believe, and Umru.
Alongside news of the album, Empress Of has confirmed shows in New York, Los Angeles and Toronto for May and June. The dates are in addition to her concerts in London and Paris in February.
Rodriguez will also feature on Shygirl's upcoming 'Club Shy' EP, which is due out on February 9.
