Porij have shared another early single from their upcoming debut album.
Following You Should Know Me and My Only Love, Unpredictable serves as the latest preview of 'Teething', due out on April 26 via Play It Again Sam Records.
Pulling influence from UK garage music, the airy club track premiered last night (March 4) on BBC Radio 1 as Clara Amfo's Hottest Record. The band commented:
"These lyrics came from a poem I wrote in November. It was fairly bleak, but in essence it was all about missing the simplicity of my early life but craving the complexity of the life that could come. In that period of time everything felt quite up and down and I really didn’t know how I was going to feel from one day to the next."
The emerging Manchester dance-pop band will perform in session for Amfo at Maida Vale Studios on March 13, ahead of US shows later in the month, including a slot at SXSW in Austin, Texas. They'll also play Manchester's Band On The Wall on Thursday (March 7) as part of the BBC Radio 6 Music Festival.
The four-piece will then head out on a UK tour in April, which will conclude with their biggest headline show to date at London's Electric Ballroom on April 24. Tickets are on sale now.
