Deftones (pictured) and System Of A Down are set to perform in California this summer.
The standalone concert on August 17 will mark the first after-dark show at San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, with the two alt-metal titans set to co-headline the all-dayer following performances from The Mars Volta, Viagra Boys and VOWWS.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (April 12). Promoters Another Planet Entertainment said in a statement:
"We are excited to be bringing such an iconic line-up to the city and what better venue than Golden Gate Park. We are expecting fans from not just the Bay Area but from across the U.S. and internationally to travel to the city injecting money into the local economy. From hotels to local restaurants and everything in between, this will be a great night of music and a great economic boost for the city."
