Ghost have shared a new song, The Future Is A Foreign Land.
The unearthed track appears on the Grammy-winning Swedish metal band's new concert film, Rite Here Rite Now, which premiered in cinemas yesterday (June 20).
It's the third "1969-era" track written by fictional character Papa Nihil — who fronted an earlier incarnation of the band — during the same sessions that spawned the 'Seven Inches Of Satanic Panic' EP featuring Kiss The Go-Goat and Mary On A Cross. Check out a clip from the film below.
Directed by Ghost mastermind Tobias Forge and Alex Ross Perry, Rite Here Rite Now is produced by Popecorn Cinematic Pictures and plays in cinemas worldwide until Sunday (June 23).
Ghost recorded two shows at Los Angeles' Kia Forum last autumn to provide the concert element of the film, which, in similar fashion to Metallica's Through The Never, also has an actual story running alongside the live performance. The soundtrack will be released on July 26 via Loma Vista Recordings.
The band put out their latest studio album, 'Impera', in 2022.
