Mimi Barks has released a new single called House Full Of Fakes.

Offering eerie, unsettling atmospherics, trap grooves and synths, the dark and compelling track serves as the latest preview of the London-based doom-trap trailblazer's debut album, 'This Is Doom Trap', out on September 26 via Silent Cult. Commenting on the new cut, she said:

"The present moment exudes a sense of post-apocalyptic insanity, both internally and externally— "Doom Eternal." This destructiveness infiltrates not only history but also homes and streets, mirrored in the way we communicate with one another. Collective thoughts, beliefs, and energies are tainted with despair and aggression.

"A deep longing to live in the Now, striving to avoid being consumed by the chaos—a struggle intensified when the mind still controls you. Proximity to self-destruction and toxicity makes the pursuit of consciousness a constant battle."

It follows the previously shared singles from the record; Montana with Yeti Bones of rap-punk duo Ho99o9, Banshee, and FSU (Fuck Shit Up).

Barks will play 2000trees and Bloodstock Festival this summer, before an autumn UK tour, kicking off on October 8 in Manchester, before stops in Bristol, London, Birmingham, Glasgow and Nottingham. Tickets are on sale now.
