Seether Announce Ninth Studio Album 'The Surface Seems So Far' With Lead Single Judas Mind

Seether will release their ninth studio album later this year.
The follow-up to 2020's 'Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum' is titled 'The Surface Seems So Far' and will arrive on September 20 via Fantasy Records. To coincide with the news, the South African rockers have shared the record's lead single, Judas Mind, which offers their trademark fusion of aggression and introspection. Frontman and songwriter Shaun Morgan commented:
"Judas Mind is a song about reaching an understanding that there are bad actors in our lives that are trying to force an outcome for us that we don’t see as our destiny. It’s about rising up against people who have a vision for you that you don’t share."
Seether have also scheduled a co-headlining US tour with Skillet for the fall, kicking off on September 17 in Asheville, North Carolina. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (July 12).
They'll also appear at Louder Than Life in Louisville, Kentucky and Aftershock in Sacramento, California.
