Drug Church will return with a new album later this year.
The follow-up to 2022's 'Hygiene' is called 'PRUDE' and will arrive on October 1 through Pure Noise Records. As a preview, they've shared the first single, Demolition Man, which frontman Patrick Kindlon describes as "a song about envying dogs because they know what they've gotta do each day. I'm sure dogs are often confused, but they always have the north star of instinct. People live without it.”
True to furious form, the song offers up the New York band's distinctive blend of punk, hardcore and '90s alt-rock and grunge as an accompaniment to Kindlon's instense vocals. Watch its video below, starring actor Biff Wiff, who you may recognise from I Think You Should Leave and Everything Everywhere All At Once.
Drug Church will play a couple of headline US shows later in July, ahead of a number of festival appearances in September and October, including Chicago's Riot Fest and Sacramento's Aftershock Festival.
