Machine Gun Kelly and Jelly Roll have released a new collaboration.
Lonely Road interpolates folk-rock legend John Denver's 1971 classic Take Me Home, Country Roads, and finds the former rappers turned crossover stars teaming up for a heartfelt acoustic ballad about personal struggles. Head below to view the accompanying cinematic video, featuring MGK's partner Megan Fox and Jelly Roll's wife Bunnie XO.
It arrives after the unlikely duo hit the stage together at CMA Fest's Spotify House in June for duets of Jelly Roll's Need A Favor and Kelly's My Ex’s Best Friend.
Earlier in July, Nashville native Jelly Roll shared the single Dead End Road, one of two tracks he has featured on 'Twisters: The Album', the soundtrack for the film of the same name. Prior to that, the Grammy-nominated artist dropped I Am Not Okay, which is expected to feature on the follow-up to his 2023 album, 'Whitsitt Chapel', though nothing has been confirmed.
Jelly Roll will hit the road for his Beautifully Broken Tour across North America later this summer. Tickets are on sale now.
MGK released a stripped-back cover of Zach Bryan's Sun To Me earlier in July. His last studio album was 2022's 'Mainstream Sellout'.
