Clean Bandit have returned with a new single, Cry Baby.
The blend of electronic beats and classical strings features chart-topping vocalist Anne-Marie and superstar DJ and producer David Guetta. It marks the British Grammy-winning pop trio's first single as lead artists in almost two years.
Arriving via B1 UK/Ministry Of Sound, it comes with a video, directed, produced and edited by Clean Bandit, with guest appearances from TikTok famous trainspotter Francis Bourgeois and Nigerian singer-songwriter Ruger. Grace Chatto of Clean Bandit said:
"It's hard to express in words how much Cry Baby means to me. It came out delicate, playful and soft, despite the song's deep pain. It still makes me cry sometimes when I listen to it, four years on from when we started it. I’m so grateful it is finally out in the world."
Cry Baby also marks the second team up between Clean Bandit and Anne-Marie, following their 2018 collaboration Rockabye with Sean Paul.
Earlier in the summer, Clean Bandit featured on the club-ready tunes Mar Azul alongside Latin pop sensation Piso 21, and rising star Jhosy, and Lambo Sport with the Puerto Rican rapper Darell. Their last album was 2018's 'What Is Love?'.
