Mastodon (pictured) and Lamb Of God have teamed up for a new single.
The explosive and heavy Floods Of Triton sees both bands bringing their own styles to the track, blending towering, fuzzy riffs with the bellowing roars of Mastodon's Troy Sanders and Lamb Of God's Randy Blythe's throat-shredding growls.
Recorded at Mastodon's own West End Sound studio in Atlanta, it was co-produced by Mastodon and film score composer Tyler Bates. Press play below.
Mastodon and Lamb Of God have just wrapped up a co-headline North American tour, which celebrated the 20th anniversaries of their respective albums 'Leviathan' and 'Ashes Of The Wake'.
Mastodon released their most recent studio album, 'Hushed And Grim', in 2021. They'll play Chicago's Riot Fest and Louder Than Life in Louisville, Kentucky later in September, before a date at Sacramento's Aftershock Festival on October 10. They also have appearances lined up at Good Things Festival in Australia for December.
